The Wildlife series:  features my finest sticks, allowing me to bring my fine arts skills as      an artist into my work as a craftsman of walking sticks.      These sticks are selected for their exquisite and unique confirmation. In addition to being      unusually beautiful, I look for unique features such as scarring caused by deer and elk rutting      their antlers against the sticks, mountain lion & bobcat scratches and pecking from the red      breasted sap sucker.      The beautiful patterns they create, and unique natural features set these sticks apart.      After shaping, I execute the fine art images by hand, first sketching the image directly on      the stick, then, using a burning iron, and an assortment of art mediums to apply the color      that will complete the work.      I offer a limitless variety of wildlife subjects, symbols and images, including       Native American imagery, wild flowers, etc…      Each stick, is hand sanded top to bottom out to 320 grit. Sealed by submersion, each stick      is finished with five to seven double coats of satin or high gloss finish.
