 Make Your Own Stick: It’s easy! I provide the sticks. You can put your woodworking skills too task and choose a “Natural Blank”, which is a stick in its natural condition [loose bark is removed], cut to size, dried and ready to work. Or choose a stick from my selection of “ Finished Blanks “. I do the hard part you get to do the fun part. My Finished Blanks are sticks from both the Take a Hike series, and Wildlife series. Many from the Wildlife series will include an “Artist Panel”, for those so inclined. Instructions included with each Wildlife series blank will explain my technique. So break out your burning iron, or whatever and make yourself a beautiful high end stick. All Finished Blanks are shaped and finished with 220 grit, and ready for your personal touch. When your work is complete your stick is ready for finishing. Follow the instructions included with your stick for an easy to achieve, beautiful finish. Many of you woodworkers have your own favorite exterior finish, just make sure any finish you use is compatible with your artwork.
