        My name is Kirk Zenkner. I am a Pacific Northwest artist and craftsman working in oil,
      watercolor, pencil, clay and about anything else I can get my hands on.
      I am honored to have an oil painting (untitled) in the City of Tacoma's fine art collection.
      More recently I was awarded First Place for an oil painting "The Commencement" at the 2008
      Western WA. Art Show and an honorable mention for "My Best Friend Barney", pencil 2009
      Western WA. Art Show.

        1978: Awarded a commission to restore water damaged murals on the ceiling of the
        Marymount Chapel in Tacoma [ Spanaway ] Wa. Completed in a years time.

        1975: Tacoma Arts Commission.
        Untitled; Exterior mural, 10x30 feet. Eastside Neighborhood Center, Tacoma Wa.
        Untitled; Garden scene and urban setting of my first home. Oil on canvas.
        Purchased by the City of Tacoma for placement in that city’s permanent collection.

        1971: Bellevue Arts an Crafts Festival.
        Title; When you get old. Mixed media sculpture, featuring a crayon ink resist.
        Award; Honorable mention.

        1968: San Mateo County Arts and Crafts Festival. [ First show as professional ]
